Family owned and operated
From Port Aransas to New Braunfels
Avery's Kitchen is run by Avery Hernandez (Big Avery), Sandy Hernandez (Mom) and Avery M. Hernandez (Little Avery). Big Avery learned to bake, butcher and cook on the island, helped build the Island Cafe and Smokehouse, then spent more than 15 years at Dockside Bar & Grill, where the "two, two, two" breakfast began.
The family opened their own Avery's Kitchen in Port Aransas in January 2011. Hurricane Harvey destroyed it in August 2017, and they picked up right where they left off in New Braunfels.
